Getting Started With Verify
Last Updated: April 8, 2024
1. Verify Single Emails
After navigating to the Verify tab, you’ll find the option to enter single email addresses to validate. In the “Enter Email(s) to Verify” box on the left side of the page, users can enter up to 10 email addresses at one time for validation. Simply type in the desired email addresses and separate addresses with a comma, or hit the enter button on your keyboard to create a line break and add the next email address on its own line. When all of the desired addresses up to 10 are entered, click the “Validate” button.
Validation costs 1 credit per email. Credit balance is displayed in the top left portion of the page. To purchase more credits, click the “Buy Bulk Credits” button at the top right of the page. To learn more about pricing and billing, click here. For a more in-depth explanation of bulk credits, click here.
2. Analyze and Download Your Results
In the “Result History” section on the right side of the page, users can find all of their Verify results going back 90 days (to learn more about our Data Retention Policy, click here). The email address, result code, and time of validation are displayed (to learn more about our result codes, click here). There is also a search bar function to find specific emails and their results.
To download the available result history of your Verify submissions, click the “Export to CSV” button. Your computer will begin an automatic download of a CSV file containing your Verify results. The CSV will contain the timestamp of the verification, the email address, the result, a “Flags” section which details any ancillary information about the address (review the Additional Insights section of the Downloading Results page), and a suggested correction for invalid free mail domain addresses that may be misspelled.
